The tulip is a symbol of Istanbul – it travelled from Anatolia to Holland in the 16th century. Every April the city plants millions of tulips in Gülhane, Emirgan and along the Bosphorus. Peak bloom is usually mid-April and depends on the weather; late-flowering varieties typically still colour the parks at the end of the month.
A once-in-a-lifetime sunrise flight of about one hour over the fairy chimneys, followed by a champagne toast. Optional, approx. USD 300 pp, booked by our team in Türkiye; flights depend on wind conditions set by the civil aviation authority.
